"Sorry, James, but there's no way that instrument was produced in our factory. It's not a Rickenbacker by any stretch of the imagination".

Dredge...dredge...Brubeck has the reciept for his '68...I've never seen a third with that wide a center piece.

I need to get some new shots. I changed to a Hipshot bridge.

The neck binding was a shambles and I had it redone in '82 or '83, so the dots are traditional, not like on a fretless. No help, huh?

That is a standard G&L. I have the pickup wired like the L1000 bass, so it has parallel humbucking, series humbucking, and single coil. If it didn't sound so good, I would get a proper set of Ric pickups.
