It's not difficult at all to make the Youtube vids display.
Steps to posting a Youtube vid:
1- Go to the url of the vid and copy everything to the right of the
=
2 - Come to the POST A REPLY window and click on the youtube button
3 - Your cursor will automatically go in between the tags, now on your keyboard press Ctrl + V
4 - You did it!
The only time it should be difficult, is if you have a cat or parrot walking across your keyboard as you try to post.

Josh,
I believe the skunk-stripe necks are pretty resilient, particularly post-FWI. The problems people had with them were the result of ignorance as to the appropriate adjustment method. My '74 4000 has worn 45 - 105 GHS Boomers (or the D'addario XL equivalent) for most of its life.

With many 4001 (and 4003) necks the problem is not the neck itself but the neck to body join that can give some grief.
With higher tension strings although the neck may have the right amount of relief just check that the action does not creep up too much due to flex in that critical part under the neck pickup.
To this day I believe that there could be subtle refinements to the design that could strengthen that bit alot...

Great point Eden - my 4000 doesn't have that issue for obvious reasons!

I have my 1971 4001 strung with the JF344 with no problems.My luthier set up my bass and he said that the bass took the strings well and with no problems.My bass is suppose to have neck issues,I haven't seen any ,although I have been careful with string tension and I took the guitar to a professional to get it set up and for his input,I have been very happy with the results.

Joshua, My experience with relief on my 4001 neck lead me to believe it could be done. I couldn't get mine straight, I took out the truss rods and they were bent in a smile in stead of a frown. when corrected and replaced. Viola the neck could be brought to flat and the rods would hold it there. I figured the same could be done the other way, maybe relieving some of the frown. Again I may be all wet in this and beefier strings sounds much easier to do.
