I don't really think that is too bad a deal, it is high, but if it can be put back to spec asthetically (minus whatever routes are concealed by the pickguard) it still has some desirable features.

I remember a few threads ago there was a 4005 with a broken headstock. Yes it can be fixed but at what cost? Some guy said less than $200US. Uh-huh.
I used to buy Parker doubles, loose, case color faded, but cheap. Now I know better. I get the best condition I can afford, then go from there.
