It doesn't and doesn't have to.

The simple question under discussion here is whether the guitar is a 620 or a 660.

Glad to see you've found a geet that works for you.

By "ice pick" sound on a Tele, what do you mean? I know the pickups in my '63 RI honk, but maybe that's just the nature of Fender vintage single coils, as my Strat honks, too. The toasters in both of my Rics don't honk.

I had to attach a bikehorn to my Ric to get it to honk. How did you do it with a Fender?

What I mean by honk is, whenever my pick is directly over the bridge pickup and I strike it hard, it creates an off-key sort of sound, in addition to the onkey string. It's something we'd have to be sitting in the room together for me to show you.
