Guitars stolen from well-known musicians are like famous paintings stolen from museums,.....they always turn up somewhere sooner than later.

Who ever stole them probably realizes they are too hot to sell to a knowledgeable person or at a large chain music store. Or they may have been sold for drug money. Hope he get his axes back.

This can't be said for McCartney's first Hofner. MIA from 1969 onwards ...

Anyway, I hope this bloke gets his gear back. They aren't just stealing stuff - they're sowing seeds of paranoia. It becomes a case of, 'who am I going to allow near my equipment, who is trustworthy enough to play it' etc. As far as creating music goes, that's not the atmosphere you want.
