Wow cool! I have never seen a CEO with a dent in his head resembling one of his own basses...

Jerry, she doesn't do forums, so there's no brownie points in it!

Maybe so but she's still a really nice lady. I've enjoyed my talks with her both trips there.

She's there virtually every weekend getting stuff done. And that's AFTER a grueling week in the front office/shipping dept. trenches.

That's what I like, a prez who gets dirty. That kind of behavior runs down hill...and it show in the kind of product and quality service that IS Rickenbacker.

Hi - I am the writer who interviewed Cindalee Hall. Not only am I a writer, but an owner of a '89 red with white binding 4001 bass. I am the one who referred to RIC International as "Ricky" not Cindalee. I am old school and was brought up in the area surrounding Rickenbacker and we always called then Ricky as a term of affection because we loved their instruments so much. Sorry if it bothered anyone. I have the utmost respect for the company, the instruments and John and Cindalee Hall.I also do Restorations and am a Certified Appraiser and did an article on the Value of Quality and wrote of Rickenbacker as a shining example.

Welcome to the RRF Rebecca!
I don't think you really offended anyone by using the term "Ricky", it's kind of a long running joke around these parts, taking people who call 'em Ricky to task, but lots of people use the term. Just not around here. Or at least not for long after they use it once...

What repercussions will I face with mods and Admin if I start saying "Ricky?"

None if Lucy is included.

There'll be some 'splainin' to do.

Theoretically, I can call them LucyBackers, too?
