This is a great Rickenbacker dealer; i suspect they're much better at guitars than they are at photo prep.

I'll bet that, in fact, this is a very nicely shaded instrument in the style we've delivered in the last few years, which would be what they are saying.
We heard it from the man!

If this were AFG, the inlays and binding would be yellow. This is a standard FG with perhaps a touch more amber in the mix that particular day.

Jeff: I've got a couple of Holgas, and am very fond of them. The diss was just for levity.

I've seen all sorts of color shifts and compression; usually in the blue/violet/green part of the spectrum. What threw me, and the reason I posted, was that the edges of this 360 showed no shading in the paint, whereas the edges looked done with a rattle can by an orangutan. My suspicion was that this was a refin; not knowing the dealer's story I didn't want to hit too hard.

Like I said, it is a standard FireGlo.

That's my story and now I'm stickin' to it.

That new Firego, when "shot" by someone who knows how to use a camera, is so very impressive...

Agreed!

in a day when most every product we say "They don't make'm like they used to" Rickenbacker has improved rather than have the planned obsolescence other products have. Coloring, quality build. I wish I had one of these FGs but, I'm so in love with my MID.

Eric, people will always complain faster than say praise, just the way we are ;)

These new FGs on Wildwood look more yellow/orangey in the middle which looks great imo. I like it even more than my 340s pinkish interior!
