I was presuming the body was structurally ok with decent frets. I suppose 3 piece neck throughs,or skunk-striped if you prefer,basses are not ALL that difficult to find....YET. It is a dwindling commodity,and i am sure owners of 1 and 2-piece necks might not give a hoot,but the 3 piece ricks have their fans,and for good reason. If i had to put about 1500 into it,that's an average price for a ric bass,and would probably not lose the money if i decided to sell. Of course if it were me that was actually doing this,i guarantee it would wind up to be something a bit different from standard,maybe something like Tom Pettersson's 4001. But i have all the ric basses i can handle right now.....

Jeffrey- re your reworked 4005...i presume you have it set up to run to 6 different amplifiers?

Of course, what else would anybody do with such a thing? It has a special 5.1 system to go with it. :twisted:
