OHHHHHH yeah. I am sitting here looking at this photo and I keep looking wistfully over my shoulder at the new box sitting on top of my pile of Rics, counting the hours! And when I open up the case it will have the oven knobs on it, which is what we requested of the seller! By the way, Philco, you've got northern Minnesota culture pegged.... but count me out on the lutefisk--that stuff is revolting!

that is a ridiculously beautiful guitar and any woman who plays that thing must be equally so... now I'll be having dreams about a Cloverfield Green 4001v63 with gold appointments, oven knobs, maybe a Bigsby...

At least you have the Vikings...oh wait...um....well...how many hours do you have left to wait?

About 19 hours and 20 minutes to go, now! I'm going to grab my 1967 335 (my current favorite), and work up a tune with which to welcome the 325!

Did I say 335?? It's really a 365..... all of this waiting is doing things to my mind!

It's kind of hard to bring out the precise shade of green.... The auction photo is actually a better indication of the true color of the guitar.... It is not really as turquoise as my photos would lead you to believe! By the way, Peter, I just saw the photos of your new "baby" on the Registration page.... I never even guessed that you were "expecting!"

Congratulations!
Montezuma Brown is a gorgeous color, and that looks like a fine guitar! No wonder you have been so sympathetic in my process of waiting to open the case!

That sure is beautiful looking! Congratulations. I hope the wait wasn't too hard to bear.

No, the wait wasn't too unbearable.... I had plenty of other things to keep me busy--for example, I did some serious housecleaning, as I knew I would be busy for a while once I finally got the case open! It was definitely worth the wait.... I love this guitar! The first few minutes took some getting used to, since I didn't have to stretch nearly as far to make my chords; I'm glad I have narrow fingers. Also, I'm quite impressed with the wide range of sounds I can get out of it....not only is it a great jangler, it can sound nice and "crunchy," too! I brought it to worship team practice last night and let our "lead" guitarist play it a little bit, and he really liked it too.... Normally he plays an Alvarez 12-string acoustic.
