Mikko, I made molded badges, among other things, back in the early '70s, using a prototyping process that my company developed.
I've seen this same process used since (albeit sloppily), in a number of counterfeit TRCs which RIC received in exchange, a number of years ago.
However, the counterfeiters are beyond using low-production methods to fake TRCs--they are still too easy to spot.
They've tooled up for real injection-molded fakers. You think they'd take time to do their homework, however--their items (having been tooled and manufactured in China) are way off and also easy to spot...a lot of money spent to fool nobody who knows his or her Rickenbackers.
