Hi Sascha,
Yes i do have some bad attacks of this disease, but i do have to concentrate on some specialties because of the money !
I have a Standard AC 30 blackpanel from the beginning of the seventies with Musicman Speakers ! I own this for tweny year and it sounds terrific !
The Gibson J160e is from last year.

Playing Rickenbackers an AC30 is a must-have, IMHO!
I bought an AC30VR - surely a bit different to the "real thing" - and I am very satisfied with the typical VOX tone. It was quite cheap (450,-€) and as a three channel amp it is very versatile, too.
For some all tube fun I use the new VOX AC4C1 blue - damn good thing! Even the internal 10" speaker is good. Normally I play it via a 12" greenbacked open cab. It can growl like an old AC15 - but at a bit lower volumes. Perfect for rehearsals and still loud enough.
Being completely glad about my 330/6 ("only possible to pry it from my cold, dead hands"

) now the thickbody 325 is more and more on my shortlist. - RAS, again...

Sooner or later I have to cure that by following the impulses of my symptoms...
The blues junior drives (a) 6L6 tube(s), right?
I can imagine this sounds just sweet with Your new guitar!

I thought the Blues Junior was 6BQ5 (EL84) tubes?

You were probably thinking of a Blues Deluxe, which does, indeed, use 6L6 tubes.

I was thinking of the Hot Rod Deluxe 3. Now I got it. - That 40watt@20kg-beast!
(Several amps with a "3" in the name confuse me, Fender. And different kinds of deluxe amps, too...)
BTW: My VOX AC4C1-BL sports an EL84, too. A really fine tube for some power stage overdrive!

Fender does some strange things with amps names, I think. The Hot Rod Deluxe (which I used to have) was originally called the Blues Deluxe; Fender went back to that name in recent years for that amp!
