welcome to the forum , your basses look fantastic, i own 8 rics myself , you do get a bit obsessed by them lol, you have chosen the finest bass on the planet to learn on which can only help you progress as a player enjoy your new instruments, well done . cheers george

It is reffered to as a 4001MMT. It is a replica of the paint job of McCartney in the 60's. He (Paul) got high and painted it up, looks pretty good!

There is a ’04 Fireglo over at Leftybassist that have been listed for a while. Coincidently, someone seems to have shown interest just yesterday.
Also, one of the British dealers has two Mapleglo lefty 4001V63s, but the price is a bit extreme. :shock:

Lovely. For some reason I like the look of the ’70’s better than the newer ones

Naahh..I doubt if many folks at the shows are that into Ric minutia, paintjob was done for the show. The bass needed to look a certain way, and besides, from the cheap seats.... ;)
