Sorry - yes, the 4x10 is an HE.
Thanks for all the info, so far, guys! I appreciate it.
So, if I were to attempt the 8x10 sound with two 4x10s, the closest chance would be with two HEs, right? Stay away from the HLF if it's the fridge sound I'm after?

correct.
I personally think you'll get pretty close with 2 - 4X10 HE's.

Stefan does not state what models he has, so I am assuming the HE as he is comparing it to the 810.
With how he stated the sound and that he ran it with the 115, I assumed that also.

nope ! found it in the garbage one evening going to the convenience store to get some milk near my previous rental house in buffalo. took it home, plugged it in ...worked perfectly. a little crackly on the volume control, but awsome tone !!! even had a vintage RCA cube mike with integral 1/4" cable in the back of it !!! (harmonica player ???)
