My top recorded bass tone is, for sure, 'Hemispheres' by Rush. Great tone, period. And it's a Ric!
Few others I enjoy -
Dinosaur Jr. - Bug
Yes - Relayer (my favourite Squire tone!)
Manic Street Preachers - The Holy Bible
Probably add some Sebadoh, and 'Vagabonds Of The Western World' by Thin Lizzy....and the album our band is nearly finishing has a Ric tone I really like as well - blow own trumpet!
Bound to be a load that I've forgotten!

As mentioned, Hemispheres and also A Farewell to Kings. These two are my favorite Ric tones.

Pretty much anything by The Byrds. Otherwise, REM, The Smiths, The Beatles, The Who, The Jam....
Amongst my fave raves:
• My fave 12-sound is still Eight Miles High. It's amazing that I still have mind to blow after years of having it blown away by this tune.
• The Who's So Sad About Us is magic.
• Away From The Numbers by The Jam still makes me feel as good as it did in 1977.
• You Can't Do That. Play it right and it's definitely happening with the audience.

The same can be said of The Flower Kings, I think most of it is a Jazz Bass, going by interviews I have read over the years.

Not all of it is. Certainly alot less of the recent music. But I'm fairly sure I saw him playing a Rick back when I saw them perform Script live. Of course this was almost 30 years ago now, but I really seem to remember my friend who was a bass player (with a Rick) pointing it out to me (me not being a bass player back then).
