Craig if I recall correctly you are from Michigan
Yes, I'm about 1 3/4 hours north of Waterford. Perhaps when my accountant finishes my taxes I'll fit a trip in.

Let me know when. Maybe we can meet up. This is about a 5 or 10 minute drive for me.

Thanks for the offer. It may be a while first. I have been listening on youtube under "660/12", and can agree that the Br-r-r-ing of the 660 is there. But yes it doesn't have the same sound as the hollowbody. Also I have to discipline myself to sell off a few other guitars to raise the funds.
If I get fired up for a road trip to this shop, I will let you know. But probably not anytime soon.

I would try one first before making any plans of thinning the herd. Thye solid body of the 660 will not have the wood tone of the 330/360. I found the 360C63 easier to play with the 7.25" crown radius fretboard and prefer it to other 12 string offerings.

Thinning the herd has to be done anyway. Some of them I had to buy in order to "demo", since they are not available locally. So they were "rented" for a while. A few other guitars were subjects for my luthier training, which has become a modestly profitable venture.

I was at Motor City again this past weekend and that 660-12 had sold sometime last week. A 4003 also went out the door.

Yes, these are both great looking guitars, and shouldn't last long. I see that the prices are going up for nice ones on ebay.
Meanwhile I have listened to a few 660/12's on ebay and have decided that I will hold off on needing a different Ric 12 string for now. My 360 really needs to get a little more play wear on it first.
