Fantastic match with a Ric.
Exact same except with two cabs. Somewhat for looks, somewhat so I can hear myself better. (Though I might just run & mike one.)

So far I am TOTALLY DELIGHTED to see that many of us old timers still sacrifice just a bit of effort and carrry a heavier amp to get better tone.

And I am TOTALLY DELIGHTED that I have not yet read the standard "Well, if you played out every night like I do you'd play a handbag amp like mine" lecture.

Sure, if you play in NYC. I buy that. Been that, done that.

But most of those guys just don't have bandmates who will help them load in or load out. Why?? We can all guess.
The Orange, while big, is not that heavy to carry around. At least compared to an SVT. We choose to play bass anyway... Someone looking for potability is better to consider a flute.

I found the larger cabinets are better for my Rics. My Fenders can sound decent with a small combo amp, but for my Rics I need a larger rig to make them sound really awesome. It's not the make as much as the size.

Orange AD200b Mk3 tube head and an Orange 4x10 cab. My practice/noodling amp is a solid state Orange "Crush" BXT 100.

SWR Workingman's 10. I just use this in the den. It's a great practice amp.

Is the SVT 8x10 still the king of the bass speaker bottoms? I see Eden, peavey, Carvin, etc. producting similar products. Have the Ampegs changed throughout the years? I saw a video from Ampeg and the presenter suggested that stamped frame speakers were better than cast frame speakers  because of their flexibility.

Tried so many amps and cabinets configurations over the years to make my Ric shine at its best...

Still looking for the ultimate rig.... If only I could get some roadies, then the SVT and the 810 would be right here with me !!!

These days, I rely on lightweight gear GK Fusion head and Ampeg Pro Neo cabs. Sound great and I get great tone out of it.

But, an all tube head is irreplaceable in my opinion.

Two Trace Elliot SMP350 Power stages driven by GP12SMX and GP7SM preamps with dual compressors.

Two ported 4x10 Trace Eliiot ported cabinets with powered horns sat on two Trace Elliot ported 1x18's

It's not tiny. Here's a picture of it before I spilt the amps out into a rack.

And here's a close up of the power stage now with the radio receiver.

With no scale reference those could be 18" or even 24" drivers in the Markbass!

Please tell me about your GP7SM preamp. I just got one and am taking it to my gig for the first time tonight. I am going to run mine through my GK 700RB II into an SWR Goliath 410.

Markbass LMKII, Markbass 1x15 and 2x10 cabs. Cannot say enough good things about the reliability and tone. The weight is also a plus. :)
