I noticed that as well, and must say it's good way to tell them apart from older f-holes :D

+1

I really like these. Now, if we could get the f-hole hollowbodies as standard production models... :D

Those look great- what's the story on those Ricks Tom's playing? A reissue of a 360 O.S. with the '60s headstock I think would be the safest bet if Rick were to do a new C series instrument. I'd buy one!

Under the hood shots of Pearl White 1997...I had no idea Jennifer Lopez worked in the factory in her spare time (maybe rubbing down the bodies...?).

...what, you mean you haven't even got yours yet Graham? ...I've already started the mods on mine (plexiglass on order) :D

I'll let you check for yourself whether your guitars have the X bracing Graham, but my one certainly has....this is one cool guitar 8)

It can if they started with a C63 body.

Hi folks, just to clear up a couple of points.

On the spec, it kinda evolved as it went along. Although I initiated the order I take little credit for how fantastic the guitars ended up - most of that was down to the creativity and imagination of Dave at Rosetti and Ben at Rickenbacker. All of mine were sold before any mention of 21 frets & gold pick guards. That said all recipients seem more than happy so far. So in terms of the oddities such as the headstock and the pick guard, I could pick holes, but for me part of the romance of Rickenbacker guitars is their quirkiness, and these babies are no exceptions.

In terms of rumours around me being disgruntled about not getting one for myself, I'd like to be on record as saying I am the most stupid shop keeper in the land and have no one but myself to blame :( I deeply regret firstly not taking all 10 for ourselves and secondly not keeping one to take home - you live and learn...... The only offset is the pleasure it has given others. Lets hope we can do something like this again, and next time I'll be a little bit braver.

Cheers
Tim
