This thread is relevant to my needs. Just picked up a Ric and would love to pair it with something like the janglebox! I can wait a month or so for this noise-free version that's coming up?

Wow, a new JangleBox is coming?
Fantastic news.

I was definitely going to ask Santa for one for Christmas this year. I was going to go for the JB2 with those EQ knobs. If the new one has the EQ on it, that may be the one Santa brings me.
Can't wait to find out more about this new JB.

There are going to be two new JangleBox pedals released this year, but neither is going to be a compressor. Both however, will be great enhancements to our current lineup of JangleBox compressors.

Sorry for any confusion. As we get closer to release, I'll provide details here on the RRF. Right now, we still need to finalize the prototypes, trademark the names, design the packaging and inserts, decide on a contract manufacturer, nail down pricing, etc… all the details that, unfortunately, can create delays if not handled correctly.

Whoa, I think I can now accurately guess what one of the new pedals will be.

I was always good at the game show "Password." Give one word and I could guess the next.
"Expander"....I think I can get it from that.

Could there possibly be a noise suppressor as well? I'd be interested in one of those!

What does an Enhancer do? ...( as in the Boss EH 2..... irrespective of whether that's gonna be a new Janglebox pedal ).....I gotta be honest, it's not a pedal I've ever taken any notice of.

It's the kind of thing you step on, and think "what? that's it? it doesn't hardly do anything!" but if you play with it on for a few minutes, and then turn it off, you miss it and wonder how you ever played without one! In simple terms, it uses mild phasing to add back the shimmery brights and highs you lose by running through a chain of stompboxes. I place it at the end of the chain in my BCB-6, right before going back into the PSM-5 master switch.
