I got a Fender '69 reissue case. Now I just need an ashtray bridge cover.
This is my Tokai and a 1968 Fender for comparison.

I was lucky enough to find a nice 80s Tele reissue years ago. I had one new when Fender first reissued them, but I had to sell it. So it was nice to be able to find one.
The reissue probably isn't exact (see the above link to the debate) but it's close enough for me. I know for a fact that I'd never be able to afford a real one ($20,000 neighborhood price wise) so I'm happy with my Tele. I sure wish I'd thought to buy the paisley Precision bass, though!

Yeah, I had one of the 1985 MIJ models at one point. It was a great guitar, but not great enough for me to hold onto.
