BTW, if you want to see some pictures of the 'innards' of the RIC factory, there are a number of threads that contain such pictures. As an example, here is the link to the 75th Anniversary thread where I posted some pictures taken during the factory tour that year (2006).

Note to self- next time I'm in Santa Ana, stay clear of the planter!

Hi Gary and other Santa Ana locals. I will be doing some customer visits again in Southern California next week, and will be staying in Santa Ana a short walk from the Ric HQ on Tuesday night, January 29. I should be able to meet you and any other locals for dinner if you'd have the time for that. I would likely get back to the hotel by late afternoon/early evening.

I would be without a car, but could take a taxi or get picked up by someone if convenient. I could PM my mobile number, etc., in case things change at the last minute. If people are busy, then there is always next time.
