For the side mounts in my 1981 360-12WB FG ckbd headstock, I bought nickel pressed mandolin bushings from Stew Mac, trimmed the edges of the collars to fit, and finger-fit them into the headstock. RIC side tuners have never been drilled the entire diameter for conventional bushings as are the "straight six" tuners, and most don't have bushings of any kind on the sidewinders.

So, did you actually fit a set of Tone Pros to yours?
Stew Mac's mando bushings are smaller OD than 9/32", the OD on the non-knurled is 7.19mm or 8.35mm for the knurled. Which ones did you use?

I used the "original nickel." By trimming the collar, they fit right in snug.

As far as replacement tuners? No. I still have my original real Klusons, factory stock from 1981, on both my 360-12 and my 320. They work great. No need to fix what isn't broken. I added the bushings so that there would be no stress on either the tuner post or the wood in the headstock.
