I would love to know/hear who played the heck out of my 4005. There are no parts missing. She does not have a lot of dents and such. But the finish show a life full of action i.m.h.o..

Was that dragged across a stage by a broken string? How do you get long marks from neck to bridge?

Like many things in life, the journey rather than the destination, is what really makes for interesting conversation. An old guitar is certainly no exception, and I always love to find out as much as possible about a piece I may own.

It would be very interesting to know the histories of my two 70s 4001 basses. Neither was mistreated, but both have been played.
