Book title change

I want no TREBle in any book about Rickenbacker bass guitars that I buy!

I'm fine with the name change - as long as it doesn't delay publication! The anticipation is killing me....

I'm sure this all has to do with marketing, and I'm OK with it. The publisher wanted a tweak in the title, so here it is:

"The Rickenbacker Electric Bass - 50 Years As Rock's Bottom"

Yes, we all know that Rickenbacker doesn't make basses that are not electric.

I like the use of the definite article.
"The Rickenbacker Electric Bass" sounds like it's "The One"....and only....

...wasn't there also an upright bass from RIC with a HS, how does this fit (somewhat electric)?

Maybe the book should be titled "Rickenbacker - The Modern Electric Bass - 50 Years As Rock's Bottom" then.
