I had a '03 360/12 that had a really fat neck and incredibly tight spacing, and despite only being 16 at the time, I didn't like it and sold it to a friend to get a '91 Tom Petty signature model. Immediately I took the the wider neck and loved that guitar. In 2009, financial reasons forced me to sell it so later that year, my mom bought me an '87 360/12V64 for graduation. That guitar had a neck that wasn't too narrow (03 standard 360) or too wide (660). And yes, I still have it.
I like the advantages the 660 neck offers for playing certain chords, but like Collin, my hands aren't that large (I have met women with hands as large as mine or larger
), so I can live with the standard neck. A saying I have is "If the tone can't be beaten, the neck doesn't matter."
360/12C63 models from '08 and later have wider string spacing.
