Did you ask the seller if there was a problem with the original bridge ? I originally only replaced mine because of a problem getting my intonation set up correctly, but then found i really liked the heepschotte bridge.....
Woody, The seller said some Luthier had recommended changing the Bridge Tailpiece because of alleged intonation issues .... on the other hand, the seller did not have the benefit of 8) Joey's Bass Notes performing his set-up and technical diagnosis.

Hmm, how does this work? Does one place the bass in front of his/her computer monitor and click somewhere to tell JBNs what make/model/year/etc. and watch the magic happen?

Jeff, we do it the old-fashioned way  ... dropping the bass off with Joey, after I get off work.

"Intonation issues"...yes,that's pretty much what my friend/guitar tech wizard said about mine,so i just chose the divergent path, and never looked back, even though i still have the original bridge in the case. I'm sure Joey will get yours set up to your liking with the factory unit.
