Once again, my opinion and that of a certain number of others, is that it looks correct from the front of the instrument. I will agree that from behind (which of course an audience rarely sees) it does look slightly odd. Personally, what REALLY looks strange to me are some Ibanez and Warwick heads but these are also probably the way they are for ergonomic reasons as well. To each their own.
