Where were they posted?

Yeah, maybe the polished aluminum would look okay. Sure would be a lot easier than getting it plated, although I haven't checked around here in Cleveland.

Oh yeah, I DO remember those,I'm glad that you found a use for them. I can't remember where I got them from though.

Yes I'd like to take credit for these-but they are actual RIC 'shoes from some pick-up long gone.
If I could make 'em this purdy then I'm sure I would get a call from some patent attorney.
Jeff-still working on the aluminium version. Gotta figure out what series to use. Must be maleable (sp?), easy to polish and weldable. Guess that leaves out 700x series.
Any ideas?

Not a clue on the type of aluminum. I have a steel worker friend, I could see if he knows any one knowledgable in things aluminum.

FINALLY got the Shadow Ops running.
The "Faux-shoe" sounds more focus, punchier and definately more vibrant. Very different from my V63 set-up and vintage p'ups that I've heard.
Of course part of this could be attributed to the DR Beauties, but I'm comparing pre/post operation sounds.
Will be working on the aluminium unit for Jeff when I get the TIG welder operational.
