Brian - thanks for your help in this detective story!

I think I'll need to get the first two entries in the register removed, and the last one, put into my name, and upload a fresh set of pictures.

The bass is now all Ric again. So having purchased the body, original pickguard, bridge and pickup ring, I've added a 2012 neck hi-gain, an HB1 and Tubeampology bezel in the bridge position, a 2010 TRC (from my tatty black 4003), custom made wiring loom, and a Ric double jack harness and plate, from Rossetti in the UK... oh and a set of D'Addario strings!

I'd love to get that plate though! I've sent a message to the guy in Ebay already.

Dammit - the plate that was purchased from the butcher was W1 xxxx !!! The ebay buyer came back to me with a very courteous email. It seems that the buyer for plate S1 7221, on auction 400387876453 hasn't yet left feedback, so I can't see who the buyer is :(

Looks like I'm going to have to polish out the "xx 2002" on my replacement plate, and get it re-chromed, and then re-engrave it.

Bummer!

Only the most recent submission remains in the Register.

Peter,

MANY thanks for sorting out the entries in the register! Seriously appreciated!

For those interested, aside of the original body / bridge / pickup-ring and pickguard, everything else is replaced with Ric components, and its all here, in glorious technicolour, complete with an HB-1 that looks uber-cool on a 4003:

Not much point in showing the whole bass, as it's a regular looking 4003 MG, but this is more for my benefit, to see if I can upload pictures!!!!

Anyhow - modern Hi gain in the neck, and the HB1 in the bridge, with the Tubeampology bezel. (I had to file the bezel slightly to get the HB1 to fit). I must admit, I think it looks rather tasty!
