The neck on this is perfect.
If you look at other 365's from 1967 in the register, most have the pickups screwed down like this.

Yeah i do believe the neck is forward though Rob the pick ups are like this cause the string and the Bridge pick up are at close proximity yes you can raise the bridge but high up in the fretboard you will have high action.Keeping it low to the pickup helps keep the string action lets say level throughout the whole fretboard.
a side on photo of the whole guitar might show it,not to say that its anything to worry about mind you.

Amazing! Questions: White nut on a '67? Early black knobs? What's up w/ the case?
Any chance we can get a scan of the "guitar servicing instructions"?

Sorry, I'm just the bringer of pictures. I know nothing about vintage Rics.
