As pointed out previously, this is customer service at its very best - direct, truthful and unambiguous. Also, good news for those of us lucky enough to already own a 5002V58 mando!

I just hope I didn't inadvertently spark some kind of mandolin-mania as a result of this post! Seriously, if anyone was thinking about ordering a new 5002V58 then I suggest you call around the dealers and either try to find one already in stock or, like I did, claim one in the finish I wanted from an existing backorder. New mando orders aren't being accepted right now and I'm finding the used market prices are, as expected, pretty much at the price of new.
