One of my favorites!
I noticed a recessed output jack!

Better check which dealers recently received those...

Hah, you lucky bassplayers! Or did they do any 360 MGs with that as well?

Great photos, John/Collin! I have always loved the neck heel on that Jazz-Bo.

Great shots - thanks!
Also, what an elegant and well-designed website to host them on. Cheers.

Cool trip John and Collin! Little preview of heaven there playing some museum pieces? I have to say that 4001s prototype is one of the nicest looking basses I've seen. The Jazzbo is pretty awesome though!

Thanks for sharing, John. And thanks to Ben for letting you and Collin in. The museum is a place I'd like to spend hours.
And yes, you dropped the ball on the mystery color 4003.

Some excellent pics John! Would be great to see the inventory of the museum fully catalogued and photographed in a structured online museum format...if you can get the Halls to agree, maybe a nice rainy day project for ya John!

I didn't get to plug it in, sorry Ted. It had big old flatwounds with purple silk (Maxima?) and the neck was dead-on '68 profile.
The tone would no doubt be similar to the 4005 bass.
