"Everybody's got something to hide except me and my monkey"
I think it's my dreamed Rickenbacker bass sound and playing style.

I got an email from the Macca scrambled eggs -- Rockshow out on DVD June 11th.
Cool! Jimmy McCulloch.

When he played in Seattle 1976,I was 15 and 38 years later it's still the best concert ever.

Quite a lot of details on McCartney's basses (years, sessions and some songs too) on the new book PAUL McCARTNEY. RECORDING SESSIONS (1969-2013). You can find it on Amazon Europe.
And "Another Day" it's great...and it's the Ric. Another great Ric moments all over the RAM album.

John on the Bass VI.
Are you sure? I always thought John was on piano and Paul had the bass on this. The playing is far more confident and inventive than one would expect of John.

I'm listening to Sgt. Pepper now, side A. How could I have picked Fixing a Hole when Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite has epic bass playing on it. That bass is so tasteful, inventive, and he's rocking to that calliope music. The bass just plays for that song, no matter what it had to do.
