I like Davey (the guy on YouTube)
He has a very raw sense of humour which I like. He DOES know what he's talking about...

He does say there is some 'craftmanship' with RIC, but he's a Fender guy.

There is a video of him visiting a friend who has loads of basses including a 4001.
He makes Davey play it (your 'Nemesis', the other guy jokes). Davey says, well they are 'nice'.

Don't take it personally. He slags off other makes too. Pretty funny, knowledgeable guy IMO....

Aaah, he's entitled to his opinions on Rickenbacker basses or any other brand.

His voice annoys me too, but some of the stuff he says is funny.
Sounds like he's on Quaaludes or something all the time! :lol:

I certainly have never had any of problems he mentions with my Rickenbacker bass and I've owned it for a long time.
