So far, I'm loving it. Am I able to bypass the bridge pickup cap? It could definitely use a volume boost.
The body feels good when holding it. The back is totally flat, which I don't usually see on a hollowbody. And it was much more resonant acoustically than I was expecting.

Yes, you can bypass the cap, just like on any other Rick with one in place, using a piece of wire across it.

As to the acoustic resonance, these are true hollowbody basses, not semi-hollow as a lot of people think they are.

I recommend using a push-pull on the 5th knob to bypass the .0047 inline bridge pickup cap instead of just hard wiring it so you have the choice as to which tone.

Hmm, mine did not have a 5th knob on it. :wink: In it's place was a ROS jack. 8)
