I don't think it's the same bass, but both are magnificent applications of Fireglo (dark edges, non-clownburst).

Could this have been an experimental finish to simulate the original Autumnglo, which was at first (before becoming matte brownish burst) a darker application of glossy FG? This could explain the black guard and TRC, common on ATG's.

...if it were two, then both basses have been built in 1980 and surprisingly both have the same bezel. The relative probability of such coincidence is already only 25%, then both basses being in Germany (at least at some time point) brings it down to 12,5%.
However givin the display of the serial number on the registered pic, sonic69 can easily tell... :wink:

It is the same bass!!! :)
The ebay seller is one of our friends on bassic.ch and the same guy I bought it from.
The black PG and TRC are not original (originally both is in white and I have it here)

That's a nice image. I need to get serious about taking a good one of my four. I have images, but they aren't all together in one shot.

Awesome! Normally I'm more of a fan of Jetglo, but that Fireglo with the black pickguard and trussrod cover looks really sharp.
