But what's the difference between the SnowGlo and the regular whites with a white trim?
First of all, there were very few WHT's with reverse trim (white/chrome) so I'm not sure "regular" is the word I'd use here.

And to answer your question: full-width inlays, rosewood fretboard, "vintage tone" harness, and poly-based finish.

Well for one, I hope not! I've always wanted a white on white but being a castaway on a Ric deserted island, it's pretty damn hard getting any Rics, let alone my dream Bass. Luckily for me, after many calls and emails, I have a SnowGlo on the way and when you add shipping, exchange rate and customs duty, yeah big bucks but I'm happy.

Peter, I'm really glad you were able to snag one of these basses. When you gotta have it, you gotta have it!
I think I have one as well, but I'm not celebrating till its in my hands. They are such beautiful instruments.

Gee, should I have purchased two and flipped one? I can certainly afford it.

No, instead I assisted two folks on this forum to each find one, since I had a good idea where several were located. And, Mr. Music was one of the dealers I made them both aware of to check. This kind of behavior chaps my a** to see this from an authorized dealer. I'm glad the two forumites were each able to secure one.

SnowGlo ebay listing closed: "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."

Wonder what happened? :?:

Sold locally, settled outside of eBay, etc.

Bob, I really appreciate the help getting the bass. (yours came in today by the way) You've made two people extremely happy!

I had written Mr. Music about the bass, and they sent me a message the following day. Happily I was able to tell them I had already secured one. Here's their email:
"We do have two coming in, I'm not sure what were gonna sell them for yet, but we do have a lot of inquiries on this bass."

I realize it's their bass and they can sell however they want, but it just seemed like bad form to put it on ebay instead of selling to a loyal customer. Just my 2 cents.

Yes, I understand that those are possibilities in a normal situation.

Also possible is that this seller, as a RIC dealer, was told by RIC to pull the listing.

That's not speculation but a fact. I think the understand well what's going to happen if they do it again.
