Neck angle on 4001 and string tension

Technically this is how it's supposed to be so your setup is probably perfecto right now. You want there to be a hair of that "fallaway" in the upper register because the string excursion increases the closer you get to the end of the neck.

Indeed. That's why I'm hoping the neck/body junction remains stable, which it probably will... :)

Probably is. 1975 was a transition year for 1/2" to 1" neck position.
