My Laredo sounds best with fresh strings. Dead strings sound good on my 4001 (fresh RW's and the 4001 is too bright for me)...

Surprising, neither of mine are like that, nor my 2030GF with it's HB-2 pickups like that, either.

Surprising, neither of mine are like that, nor my 2030GF with it's HB-2 pickups like that, either.
My 4004s are not like that either. Could be in need of pickup height and/or string to string spacing adjustment...could be the way the guy is playing the E string. I noticed a difference towards the beginning of the video.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

You're right, I didn't notice that at first, but I do believe it's not just playing technique.
