Funny thing.. I decided to get a 330 instead. If I love it, I'll get the 620 next.

Congrats on the acquisition. 330s are great as well. Just a warning that you will likely have to relax your policy and acquire at least one or two more. There quite addictive.

I haven't been on this forum for too long, but definitely a bunch of knowledgeable and helpful people here, and for the most part very friendly. In my first thread posted, a guy offered to send me a spare pickguard to trace. How do you beat that?

Apparently a couple of guys who know a little about Ricks (and guitars in general) thought it might be a good idea to go to a bridge humbucker in a 350 with a toaster in the neck.

So not as large a leap as that.

I left the scatter wound in the neck of my 660 and used a 'hot' 12k toaster in the bridge for a while. That made for a pretty nice balance, but I recently acquired some more 12k toasters and swapped the neck as well.

Might be worth a shot. I'm sure someone around here has tried it.
