Hasn't worked for me in the making money department. I just get confused by all the same names for different notes! :D

This could be a great deal, I can see the attraction in a cream-colored neck-thru S-model that gets us all thinking "Chris Squire", but this can also be a very expensive bet to lose. Personally I wouldn't buy a pre-'85 Ric bass that already has neck issues sight unseen.

well I waited too long aand it's sold. I'm an idiot. The guy found a trade for a Les Paul, which is what he wanted (what a loser!) Actually I'm a little ****** he didn't inform me since we had an active discussion going about the bass!

Was it one of you??????

Maybe it's for the better, I really want an older 4001 deep down. Guess I just saved myself $1200 (for now)

Thanks for your input fellers

Definitely not me. Don't sweat it. It has neck issues, you may have saved yourself a lot of trouble.

Me neither. Had I been there however, that would have be acquired promptly!

I still think that was a potential bargain, given color and specs.

hehe well thank you for the condolences. Yes it MIGHT have been a good deal, but also the neck MIGHT have been messed up, let's hope it was the latter ;)
