Tim, that 380/12 PW is still one of the most beautiful guitars ever. I wonder how those W series guitars would look like if they were glossy like your the 380/12. Indeed , the W series is a hit right into the target , well done CEO

Thanks Alex! When are you going to add to your Walnut selection? You have a pretty nice set of these yourself!!

Hmmm... meanwhile my dear wife Ilse knows every guitar of mine, and I haven't sold my 360/12 JG and 345 Mid yet. Soundaffects from Ormskirk offer some now here in Europe for a reasonble price. You can bet that my mind is already set up for one of those..

(but we are still saving for the Yap trip next year's March)

This time around it wasn't my idea to offer these but rather Ben's. Given the previous lack of interest in Walnut oil finished instruments I honestly was surprised to see how well they've sold. I suppose it was a matter of timing.
I have a 380L Piezo guitar with a gloss finish- it's not bad looking. Here's a photo of it being played by our late lead guitar player, Steve Anderson:

Maybe the maple board just needs a few rays of light? Compare new and older mapleglo guitars with bindings. IMHO the contrast becomes nicer and nicer over the years. (In the beginning I do not like them at all.)
Said that I can imagine darker (bluish?!) inlays, also!

Well, thanks Ben H. I like this little guitar. Also, Chris at POTR was great about getting this to me. Yep, I saw that coated 380 in a photo of the RIC Collection and it spurred me to do the 12-string. Walnut is a nice guitar wood. Also, I do notice that the Maple neck gets a certain "patina" when played and darkens up a bit. My 380L/6 is that way.

As a PS, that one-off gloss walnut "W" series bass looks really great. Maybe someday I'll do that to the 330W and add a Bigsby.
