Hi Kenny,
That is weird.
Does your bass have the stock Hi Gain pickups in it? Is the pickup mounted crooked? It would help if you could send or post a picture so I can see what's going on.
If you have an HB-1 or a Hi Gain with the chrome ring installed in the treble position you would need your bezel custom machined for extra clearance. But this may not possible to do with the chrome bezels due to the metal exo-skeleton from the plating. I would be willing to give it a shot though.
You can PM me or contact me directly through my website and I will help in any way I can to figure out what's wrong with the installation.

Yes, the pickup is mounted slightly off-center on the baseplate. (The bass was made in 1990. I suspect the machining/assembly for such is more uniform on more recent examples.)
I have the black version, although the chrome one did catch my eye.
And not to worry, I acquired the bezel in a trade so no refunding or customizing necessary. I'll hang on to it for a future project.
