I agree about the nut. Filing it down was how they fixed the problems in the E and A strings but I think they overlooked D and G. I'll try the wound G too.

One more thing, I don't have the greatest confidence in the tech where I bought the guitar and had it adjusted the first time. I live in the MD/DC area and I need to find a new one.
