Although I own BassDuke's book, I'm not as conversant with the history of the white model or the history of finish issues with the blue. I just know what I like. My pick is the blue instrument. FWIW, mine is Montezuma Brown, another one not seen as often as FG and MG.

Andy, the Snowglo came out after the book was published, but there were White Rics before that.
If I were to get a Snowglo 4003, I would get Pickguardian to make a pearlescent pickguard to match the fingerboard inlays. To me, that looks like ice, so you would have the beautiful(?) wintry combination of Ice and Snow.

I prefer it actually, but you'll need to paint the truss rod cover to match.
