Haven't had any problems with the tailpiece on my 370/12 but I only use the Ric set or TI flatwounds. I am thinking about switching to a Winfield harp tailpiece just for ease in changing strings and perhaps to avoid any future problems with the R unit.

I'm thinking about installing an Accent Vibrato on my 381/12; my Vox 12 has a whammy bar and it works great!
