If I find another '73 pickup like that one, I'd put it on the V68. Although it would be more vintage correct, I don't want a skinny magnet/and/or green hi gain for the V68. I've had a couple and prefer the bigger magnet for tone. YMMV.
How about a green'ish large magnet '73 pu that was re-wound by Jason Lollar?

Finally back and looking fabulous Jeff! The bass...Not you!
I, like most here, admire the patience and resolve you had over the last 5 years. Good to see it's been finally rewarded...

That's right. Your bass makes it all too clear that the 4001V68 was a good idea. Still is.

Nice! ....somewhat reminds of the 'Teenage Head' record cover by The Flamin' Groovies.

Hey guys! I've been away for a while (again!) But I just wanted to say a big
thank you for all of your kind words, to Alexander, Iain, John, Scott, Greg, Steve, Robert, Jim, Ilan, Andy, and Kevin! The V68 thanks you too!
And to Kevin: That is one sweet Rick! Beautiful grain, beautiful glo! And I like your green hi gain too.
Many can and have played circles around me with horseshoes intact, but I (still) prefer full string access.
