Not to mention that the metal flake within the paint repels sound waves like a Superball, sending jingly, jangly bass sweetness everywhere! :lol:

My son tells me that he visited a Guitar Center this weekend, and although they did not have any in stock, they had a special display, like a poster, on which they were offering a special run 4001/4003, he said it had a toaster on it, and looked to be a satin finish "S" model. I am planning to go see this for myself tonight or tomorrow, not sure if this was just a poster for the 4001v63 satin Guitar Center specials of a few years ago, or something new... Anyone else hear anything about this?

I haven't heard of any new ones they are doing but will be interested to see what you find out.
