When we walked into Royal Albert Hall, George's 360/12 was sitting dead center stage with a spotlight on it. From what I gathered, Alan Rogan & Dhani didn't want anyone to play it but did bring the guitar along with Rocky(the Strat) for all of us to enjoy. Rocky was used on "My Sweet Lord" by Andy Fairweather-Low.
Alan was handling all of Dhani's & George's guitars.

BTW, all you guys who are critical of the DVD's.. fine. You should have been there like I was as it was an incredible night and one I'll never ever forget. The love and feeling in the hall was tremendous and unfortunatly maybe didn't transpire onto the DVD. It was a non-ego evening with all of George's friends paying tribute to their ol' mate as best as they could. There were no T-shirts, programs, etc, for sale in the foyer's or lobby and as best as I could sumise was a non-commercial event and meant to pay respect to a man who gave much of his life to all of us. Having had the pleasure of meeting George 30 years ago, he was a deep and considerate man and funny as hell too!
BTW, the amp Clapton was playing thru was made by Dennis Cornell. Not Fender! It was built to replace his low powered tweed Twin for stage & touring use.

Wow, Toneman! Just curious how one would go about getting tickets--or invited--to such an event? Also, it must have been awesome to meet George Harrison. Was it during a tour? I've always wondered how folks get in on the "meet and greet" sessions (unless they are industry folks which you may be).
I did not intend to come off as a pompous critic in my original post. I have tremendous respect for all of the performers and of course George was a class act. Lately, I've been attending concerts with my 15 year old son. We have an agreement that we alternate between bands that he likes and the classic acts that I grew up with, and I have to say that, after seeing bands like Mudvayne, POD, and Linkin Park, the nostalgic acts from years gone by seem a bit worn out to me--with the exception of Aerosmith and AC/DC which we both enjoyed tremendously! Up next...Godsmack and Metallica. My earplugs are ready. Let me know how the meet and greet thing works if you can.
