Thanks for the reminder Ian
Here we go then: All weight in Oz's, all Bridges had all their mounting screws and saddles
1:
6.1 OZ An original 73- Cast Aluminium Split Bridge
2:
23.73Oz A Black, Brass Hipshot Ric Replacement (that's almost 1.5 Lbs)
3:
22.18 Oz A Chrome Hipshot Ric replacement (Aluminium I think) I'd say it's Brass like the black one, the chrome finish reflects more gravity than the Black one
4:
13.75 Oz And a shiny brand new 2020 next generation Ric Bridge

So body down more, headstock up more.
Any tips or advice?
Easiest way I've ever found (specially for a gig) was to pass the rear part of the strap through one of the belt loops on the side my jeans or trousers, instant fix, and, helps keep your pants up too

Jim, would you mind double-checking the weight of the 2020 next gen Ric bridge? I found this pic of a regular (zinc) bridge which weighs in at 307gm (10.8oz) and surprised to see that the new bridge is 3oz heavier. Is it solid (milled) rather than a hollow casting like the old one? Thanks, Ian

The attachment Ric bridge.jpg is no longer available
Happy to, mine weighs in at 22.01 Oz, that's the Bridge, the retaining bar, and the Saddles, and the associated screws, looking underneath, I''d say it it's cast and not milled.

Thanks Jim. Yikes it's nearly twice the weight of the old zinc bridge!

I tried to stand like this when playing 4001 in my early days. Thought it was cool!
