You'd have to say goodbye to the contours on the "top" (front") as they did on the 4004LK!

Just thought I’d throw the question out there. As Rickenbacker fans what models would you like to see Rickenbacker make for there 100year celebration.
Thanks
Would be cool, but how many people would want to buy one?Korladis wrote: Mon May 01, 2023 9:59 pm Obviously a frying pan
Though in all seriousness, a reissue of those weird uprights they made way back in the day would be cool
I’m in the minority who actually finds the bound bodies more comfortable than the unbound ones, so the body would be uncontoured, like on a 4001/4003. Think the LK.jps wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:05 amHow would RIC do the CB on the superbly contoured 4004 body? Maybe along the edge of the body around the perimeter.
Yep. Wouldn’t bother me tbh.bassduke49 wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 11:01 am You'd have to say goodbye to the contours on the "top" (front") as they did on the 4004LK!
I would.
There's always the headstock, edges of the fretboard, and around the pickups and jackplate...jps wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:05 am

No, I didn't forget, I just didn't want to keep typing. That's why I ended the sentences with "..." Besides, how gaudy do you want it?:Pjps wrote: Sat Jul 08, 2023 8:05 amTsk, tsk!
